# Staking

Our staking mechanism operates on an epoch basis, driven by Farcana's treasury profit. 

The treasury actively repurchases $FAR tokens and redistributes them among staking pools as rewards for our valued users. This transparent and equitable approach ensures a fair distribution of rewards while fostering a healthy circulation of $FAR tokens throughout our ecosystem. There will, however, be qualifiers for the eligibility of rewards (mode details to come soon). 

We are particularly proud to highlight that our staking mechanism is fully halal-compliant, giving us a significant advantage in the MENA region. Furthermore, this adherence to halal principles enables us to tap into a vast and underserved market, establishing a solid and loyal user base.
